00:05 by a company from HFK. This is their dash cam, the model HM-201. It is a dual camera

00:13 system, full HD, front and rear cameras, fully waterproof and dustproof. The cameras did

00:22 come packaged very, very well. All the components are color coded, so it's very easy to install.

00:29 Anyone with a simple mechanical ability can do it. It took me about an hour to install.

00:37 So let me walk you around and show you how I did it.

00:43 Here's the front camera there. And then I tucked my back camera up under here. Right

00:55 there is the back camera. This is all set up. Here's the camera underneath. Here's

00:64 the power button and then the Wi-Fi button. As you see, it only powers up, the red light

00:76 there's power, and it makes an audible sound. It only powers up when the key on the ignition

00:83 is turned on. And then when I turn it off, it does have a delay when you shut it off.

00:93 All cables come, you can see they're color coded. Those are the cameras there, the power

00:97 there. I think this is a great unit, so let me start with the one negative I see on this.

00:104 It's definitely not a deal breaker. I don't like that when you're done recording or if

00:109 you want to get the footage off the DVR unit, you have to pull your seat off and push the

00:116 Wi-Fi button for three seconds and then you have to pair your phone with the device to

00:123 download any content. It would be nice to be able to just download the content without

00:127 having to do all that. Somehow turn on the Wi-Fi via a remote or something. With that

00:135 being said, that's it. Other than that, this is a great unit. As you can see, the quality

00:140 of the pictures are great. As a content creator, this is recording all the time. It does five

00:147 minute loops and deletes the oldest footage. There's a 64 gigabyte hard drive on it. It

00:153 deletes the last footage and then keeps recording over. So your camera is recording all the

00:159 time. So any of these crazy, awesome, oh shoot, I didn't get my camera out in time, you're

00:166 recording. So that is great. The other good pro is that the safety aspect of it. You have

00:174 a camera on all the time. So when crazy cuts you off, you get into an accident, it's all

00:183 being recorded. That being said, on the accident, there is a G-Force sensor on the unit. So

00:190 if you have a crash or a bump, and it locks that footage from whatever amount of G-Force

00:197 is then required to make the sensor go off, there's a settings in the camera that's low,

00:203 medium and high. And it will set off the G-Force sensor and lock the footage that was just

00:211 recorded. So if you do have a, you do use this for dual sport or adventure bike like I do, you

00:219 want to set it on the highest G-Force setting. Okay, that way you don't have to worry about it

00:224 inadvertently going off. HFK has done a great job with this. The instructions are great. The color

00:232 coding is great. It's really simple. Anyone with decent mechanical knowledge can install it. It's

00:237 very simple. So if you're in the market for a additional camera or a dash camera for your
